I always thought fireflies are creatures of “optimism”. They light up the darkness, bring hope and comfort to those who are lost.

Image via Wikipedia

Fireflies are meant to fly,
And light up the velvet sky.
Little torches of shimmering hope,
Fleeting low and fleeting high.
Just like tiny stars,
Twinkling in the night.
Burning with passion,
And awesome might.
Bit by bit,
They luminate and shine.
Paving way,
When darkness blind.
So do not be afraid,
Stranded in the dark.
Just look for the lights,
That bring you luck.
Fireflies are there,
To show you why.
To emanate light,
Without having to lie.
