The night was chill,

as crowds gather round.

To watch the night sky light all abound.

Most forget the reason of this night,

rejoice in victory and freedom delight.

Bright colors and noises so big,

Spinning children,

Lit sticks much like a twig.

Do not forget the notion,

Freedom is for everyone and is as big as the ocean.

Take care and hold your loved ones tight.

We wouldn’t be here,

if not for the momentous fight.
