I wrote this with the same sense as Little Bo peep.
Little Pink penguin has lost her friend
And doesn’t know where to find him.
Leave him alone, and maybe he’ll come home,
Bringing all his things with him.
Little Pink penguin fell fast asleep
And dreamt he’d soon come home,
But when she awoke, she found it a joke,
For he was all but with her.
Then up she took her little heart
Determined for to find him.
She found him indeed, but it made her heart bleed,
For he left his heart behind him.
It happened one day, as Pink penguin went astray
Into an igloo hard by,
There she espied his little heart
All put in a chest to keep.
She heaved a sigh and wiped her eye,
And all over the icebergs went rambling,
And tried as she could, as a lover should,
To give her little heart to him.
