I enjoy the way my mind often wanders

 as it wonders lovingly about you today.

My heart dreams toward your direction

 remembering all that has come our way. 

Can’t put into perspective the overall view,

shadows cast fading images into the twilight zone.

I feel lonely and left out of life’s important thrills

yet with thoughts of you I don’t feel so alone. 

You came into my life, when I thought there was no one.

You reached out a friendly hand for me to grasp.

 My heart quickly took your heart as it’s very own

 if  only for a moment, or a lifetime it would last. 

Each breath I take, I breathe in your kindness

also I send out my love for you to embrace.

 From this day forward I pledge to you friendship

entwining our hearts together as the future we face. 

We know not what tomorrow will bring to us we’ll only

take one day at a time and enjoy it.

Accepting the good in -which God has delivered
