To my family and friends. Thank you for loving me through my fear.

I need to be held but I’m afraid of asking-
I need to scream but I’m afraid of disturbing-
I need to cry but I’m afraid of feeling-
I need to die because I’m afraid of living.

It\’s a short and sweet poem with a powerful meaning behind it. Your little poem speaks volumes. I will hold you in my prayers so you don\’t have to be afraid anymore. God bless, Kathleen!

I really enjoyed it as well as your other poems. You have a talent that spans from a timeless art form of word usage to a modern delivery. Your poetry truly speaks to many and anyone wishing to know they can find a kindred soul that can relate to their life and know they are not alone…I would encourage others to read your poetry so that the “feel” and strong messages and honest and raw beauty that shows the level of personal vulnerability you are willing to expose does not go unappreciated nor unnoticed.

    Most Sincerely,
Patrisi Sheffler (Senior Editor, —- —-)
