If you do not fear life, why would you fear death.

If I have no fear of life
Why then would I fear death
Life happens as it will
And so will death

Life for me is a great adventure
I’ve prepared for that the best I can
But I expect the unexpected to occur
And can only face that when it happens

What is there really to fear in life
Don’t we all know that things do change
And change is not always for the better
The better as we see it here and now

You cannot prepare for all that happens to you
And to change the future is beyond your power
So worry not about the things you cannot change
And live life to the fullest while you can

My sentiments exactly. Death is life. And you’ve just reminded me of an idea I had for a poem last week.

“Life for me is a great adventure”

I imagine Indiana Jones would say the same.

    Great poem.

Here here. I never worry about what I cannot change. I wish I could make my husband see things this way as well. He worries about everything. A very good piece.

If while alive you leave the imprint of your life everywhere you go, then death does not mean dead.
    Well written verses
