An unknown threat

The world since nine eleven

Lock down is a condition we know best

This reality is filled with fears

Someone out there to do us harm

From the public school system

To a day at the local mall

It is announced on the evening news

Or maybe across your personal cell phone

Sometimes I cannot sleep at night

My life is on lock down mode

It happen not too long ago

At a park facility near my home

A violent attack resulting in a killing

The reality of a lock down world not giving

This world has change and not for the good

I am not sure what is happening

I am not sure if things will improve

This lock down world condition will still occur

It is like we are stuck in an increase chaos status

The need for peace and safety is lost among us

A heart that runs cold in the bodies of haters
