This is about eating candy while trying to diet.

Lollipops all around me,

Bright and colorful,

And oh-so-sickly sweet.

But I must stay away,

Can’t take one lick.

Doghnuts and cotton candy,

Chocolate treats,

Taunting me,

Laughing at me,

Knowing I can’t be with them.

I wish I could smash,

Those lollipops into a million pieces,

Watch their colorful faces,

Shatter into nothing.

But then I’d probably,

Eat the chards.
