A poem of london, I have never been.

London is a popular area

With celebrities and business people that live in town

It meets people’s criteria

All busy rushing around.

The traffic is at a stand still

Getting charged for sitting in the traffic lane

As they are monitored to foot the bill

Does anybody complain?

The giant clock on the houses of parliament

Holds the famous Big Ben

Tourists take their pictures, they are glad they went

Then the clock strikes ten.

Then they will see the dungeon

Where past prisoners were held there

The tourists can visit the tower of London

Sit and feed the pigeons in Trafalgar Square.

I’ve never been there either. They say a queen lives there.

    Dear sandie,

I’ve a peculiar soft spot for British mentionings. Well written.

    Sincerely,

    The Character
