Plunging into the darkness:
Anarchy reigns
Streets raging engulfed in flames
Blame not placed at any race
Colour blind but an ugly snarling face
For many, everything lost
Money alone, cannot cover the cost
Stores and homes it did not matter
As only rioter’s feet outside clatter
Glass shattering all around
Just a terrifying sound
Police tried
Only luck held that no one died
Oh London we feel your pain
All that is left is the blackened stain
Blood will flow
More fires will grow
The creeping menace of anarchy
Something that should not be free
