To be away from others and to reach into yourself, is what the poet needs to fully embrace an idea. I practice it quite often, not ostracizing myself, but getting away for contemplation!

LONE THINKER
Quiet, solitary and peaceful,
Solitude is my fortress,
Gaining perspective by musing,
Where my ruminations invoke insight,
My priorities arrange,
From complex into concrete ideas,
I think so much more chaste,
When I think alone.
