A poem about freindship and love.
He drops his suitcase by the door
Crossing the floor to sit down next to her.
Silence passes between them.
A friend once lost in her memory, now reappears.
The woman looks over to where her friend now sits.
He reaches out to cover her hand with his.
“There you are” she speaks softly.
“Here I am,” he whispers.
“Now all is as it should be,” she states.
He nods his understanding once.
Than he stays there with her for all eternity.
And all really is as it should be, for once in this world.
