One look may be all that it takes, but look again and you won’t be so sure…

Soundly within

The mirror you gazed at

She wore a white dress

And a simple red hat

Adorned in high heels

Sparkles from head-to-toe

No wonder everyone loved her

No wonder they followed her so

But look again

My childish friend

Had you not known -

She, the devilish fiend?

Constructed of plastic

A boughten face

Around the world she mesmerizes

Her eyes leading a chase…

What is what seems

Might not exactly be

So look again, my fool, my victim

For what is under, you may not see.
