A house cat’s view of the outside world.

I see the world outside

And wonder what it would be like

To run and hide

While I am looking outside

Long ago at least from a cat eyes

I was born from a stray

Where outside they stay

Oh how I wish I could play

I guess I am lucky than most

While viewing from this glass door barrier

For just a few moment on the other side

What would be the cost?

So, I just sit here wondering my thoughts lost

As the seasons change

It’s never too hot or cold indoors

I’ve never known hunger

A small price to freely roam.

Because my weary are few

For I am a house cat

A life of play with some boredom mixed in

I guess it is not so bad to be locked-in.
