A mind that may play tricks on you, seeing things that are not there.

A mind that plays tricks on you.

Losing your mind,

can make me wonder around,

until I have found,

that empty space that I have been looking for.

As my mind fumbles through, and through

as if I didn’t know what to do.

Some people may speak the truth,

but I feel as I’m stuck on a roof,

or lost in my youth (age),

and cannot believe what they are saying,

So I try to make my mind understand,

or to reach out and grab there hand,

and lead the way

but I keep getting pushed back,

as if I’m not suppose to stay.

but all these things keep getting in my way!

I keep seeing things, that are not really there,

I try to look for help,

or try to find someone who really cares,

but only to face, and realize that no one is really there.

Just remember you are not your thoughts… This poem is a reminder that we can lose our minds if the thoughts take over, but actually losing the thoughts would be a good thing. I strive to lose my thinking mind and dwell in my Mind. Nice poem!

I totally agree with the lovely Nisa. The thoughts in your mind can drive one bonkers, especially when you are a truly sensitive person. People who write poetry, stories, music, and the artists, are all people of a different nature-to me-a softer and more gentle type of people. I wish I were around more of these people, instead of what goes here. You keep on doing your poetry and avoid toxic thoughts. Focus on something else and say that you are not going to go through this poisoning of the mind! Best wishes,

    Mo
