Young boy’s story.

He left his home when he was young,
He’s seen a life and had it tough.

He was a sweet and loving child,
It had to chance, this world is wild.

He was naïve and trusted people,
His blood turned cold, emotions crippled.

He looked around, learnt the rules,
He played his part and watched his moves.

He lost the strength within himself,
He wasted life, rejected help.

He got depressed, he’s not denying,
His world collapsed, he felt like dying.

They watched him falling, I was there,
I picked him up, we both felt scared.

He needed space to breathe and think,
I had no choice, but make him live.

***

I promised you to get you through,
I kept my word to stand by you.
