It is never where you look for it

Your pant pocket, car door or couch and under the rug

It is when you most need it

At the store, bus stop or drive thru while purchase fast foods

Lost change is on the ground or in your chair

It has a life of its own when you are out and about

It seem to be in the place you do not look

It is how and where we keep our change

That causes most of the problem modes

To dig around in a bottom of a shoulder bag

The perfect place to lose your coins

A lack of organization is a lost change factor

The more unorganized I am the more likely I will lose it

I wait for the last minute to find the right change

Of course it is nowhere to be found that way

Lost change will plague us forever it seem

There is not solution to the problems it brings

So my lost change is some else gain
