Where are the lonely hearts?

Blue skies shimmering
A lonely soul quivering
A silhouette kissed

The sun slowly fades
The shadows brushing the sky
A heart held captive

A silent song sung
Whispering among the breeze
Murmuring softly

An aching need cries
Left to writhe in darkness
Where a lost heart lies

Love is a young seed
Caressed by the sun’s embrace
Becoming a bloom

Standing in the shade
Forever waiting in hope
To one day be found
