Poem about the national lottery.

Life is just a great big lottery

You win some you lose some

You give the odds a wishful try

Will that winning number come

-

You buy your lottery ticket

Watch the balls tumble around

One number needed you wish it

My number not to be found

-

Lotto, Thunderball, and Hot picks

Lottery comes in a variety of styles

Watching numbers on television transfix

Hoping to win once in a while

-

If your lucky number comes along

All your dreams can come true

But if your numbers are all wrong

That’s another day feeling blue
