In spite of what may come your way, if you have love, laughter and someone with which to share them, you’ll come out okay.

The memories never fade

Even when we’re apart

The love and laughter

We’ve always shared

Despite our situation

Our circumstances

Cannot diminish our hope

Through pain and tears

We cling to each other

Arms locked, braced

We keep standing

Rains come and storms arise

Threatening to wash away

What we have built together

Torrents rage and waves crash

Devotion and determination

Carry us through

Keep us safe

So long as we have each other

The love and laughter prevail

Life seems more enjoyable when it can be shared with someone else.

Very sweet and I love the tiny graphic that introduced the poem, are you the one being embraced?
