A poem about doomed loves.

Love hurts

Why do they call this feeling love?

If all it does is make me cry,

Why do they call this feeling love?

If all it does is make me hurt,

Why do they call this feeling love?

If it make me want to die,

My heart beats at the sound of your name,

And a part of me is lost forever,

Not just one love hurts,

All loves hurt,

Love gives you a false sense of security,

It makes you feel safe,

It makes you believe that they’re the one,

The one you could spend all of eternity with,

The one you’d risk your life for,

But when reality kicks in,

You feel like a fool,

You begin to doubt love,

You being to doubt yourself,

Most of all you being to doubt life,

Love made you feel like an idiot,

Love made you believe in something fake,

So why must we love,

Is it in our bodies?

Is it in our hearts?

Is it in our nature?

I don’t know,

But I’m damn right sure it breaks my heart.
