Hi, Eva, how are you?
I will have to agree with your perception. I really like this free verse, it flows and has a good theme, and sheer and appropriate images.
I happen to think that love is a little bit more than just feeling. I happen to think that love is an action that we choose to follow, a path we choose to take. When we stand at the crossroads of so many points in our lives, we show love by choosing the proper way, the supreme way that love would have us choose. Don’t get me wrong, passion has it’s place, but that’s where it only begins, don’t you agree? Thanks for sharing, and have a great day.

You are right and I’ve never thought to see love in this way. True, I want the burst of color and rolling thunder but the meeting of souls and joining of hearts sounds so much more romantic.

This is by far one of my favorite poems I've read from this site in awhile. The flow is perfect - soft, enchanting, soothing - like a gentle caress. The words, the images, the way it's skillfully put together, masterful.

I especially love:

love is a quiet acceptance,
a meeting of souls,
a joining of hearts,
a sharing of dreams,
that is as soft as a whisper
and as pure as the driven snow.
