Love is not demanding,
Love is giving,
Love is not selfish,
Love is considerate,
Love is not clutching,
Love is letting go,
Love is not lying,
Love is truth,
Love is not spying,
Love is trusting,
Love is not vindictive,
Love is forgiving,
Love is not suffocating,
Love is freeing,
Love is not stagnant,
Love is flowing,
Love is not wounding,
Love is healing,
Love is not just sex,
Love is affection,
Love is not judging,
Love is accepting,
Love is not ranting,
Love is calming,
Love is not intolerant,
Love is patient,
Love is not violent,
Love is gentle,
Love is neither yours nor mine,
Love is ours to share,

This writing is an good extension of what ‘The Bible’ says in 1Corinthians 13: 4-8a: “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
