Love Like Movies

This is one of my early poems that attracted a lot of attention for me. It simply explains how your love life can be like a movie.

Love is like a movie you can’t rewind

So cherish the moments.

Don’t hesitate to press play

If something comes up then press pause

And come back when its OK.

Stopping will hurt those that want to see the movie until the end

Have a heart and finish what you started

Are you patient or are you dieing to see how it turns out?

Remember you can fast-forward but don’t run it back

Falling into the trap of the past because you missed the action

I never miss the action! Sometimes I zoom in!

My movies are action packed!

Make you smile. Make you laugh. Make you cry.

As long as you fall in love with the main character of the story

It’ll be a beautiful movie.
