Poem about the love for the sea and boats.

On the harbour I stood today, looking at all the boats,

many faces looked my way, was only interested in what floats…

Standing in my sailing gear, I whispered to the sky,

let me sail far or near, at sea is where I want to die…

My blood belongs to the sea, past down from ones before,

its here I want to be, I hear their voices call…

Oh give me a boat, put sail to the wind,

happily I’ll shout and gloat, love for the sea is my sin…

In my dirty old blue jeans, to the sea let me go,

with the sails on high beam, this is the life I know…

A life I will not forget, no time to drink bad wine,

love the sea and you can bet, you’ll live for a long time…..end
