A poem about finding love. Part of the old poems I found filed a way.

You take my hand into yours,

I feel myself floating above the clouds.

You gently kiss my lips I feel myself melt away,

As if you have consumed me heart and soul.

Your embraces are what songs are written about,

I swear every time I’m in them I hear angels sing.

I don’t know how you do it,

How you complete me so,

I just know that being with you is like heaven,

No matter how much I’m with you it doesn’t seem enough.

You are who I want to be with for the next eighty years,

When I’m old and gray,

Sitting by you in a rocking chair on some porch,

I’ll know I have lived because I was loved by you.
