When loved ones pass to another place
We often wonder why
Longing to once more see their face
Or wanting to tell them bye

We find ourselves missing them so
The pain is often deep
Wishing they didn’t have to go
Sometimes we sit and weep

Wishing we’d gotten to know them better
The things they used to do
Remembering times you spent together
Now the times seem so few

If you have loved ones living today
See them as much as you can
Don’t wait till you have something to say
For God may have other plans
