A poem of playful love….

Sitting on the sofa side by side,

you turn to me with that cheeky smile you can not hide.

I laugh a nerves laugh as you continue to grin,

that’s when my body tenses ready for something to begin.

And sure enough you poke me in the side a tactic I should know by now but chose to ignore,

I return the poke to even the score.

You’re fingers tickle my sides to return the attack both of us move quick as laughter fills the air,

arms legs hands are everywhere.

I wish to win just for once as I try to pin you down but it never works as you flip me back,

and give me a playful smack.

Under you’re body I lose once again,

I resort to biting you as you pretend to cry out in pain.

Giggles of now that’s enough raise from me as you refuse to release me,

finely you do with a kiss or two this is the way lovers play fights should always be……..

Fun poem, adults should play fight to release tension and bond. Good stuff. LB
