Love can be experience in these ways.

Love has the wings of the butterfly,
Oh, hold him but lightly,
Resting and dipping and fluttering by
Inconsequently.
Don’t beat his poise with the breath of a sigh

Love has the wings of the gallant eagle,
Hold to him strongly
What if the look of the world be cold,
And life goes wrongly?
Rest on his wings, for broad is their fold

Love has the voice of the nightingale,
Listen to his trilling
Lean to his song when the moonlight is pale,
Passionate, thrilling
Treasure the song, before the lilt of it fails

Love has the voice of the storm at night,
Outrageously defiant.
Hear him and bear up your soul to his power,
Tenderly pliant.
None will regret who notes him correctly
