with promises of happy endings,
No heartbreaks in sight?
love can can so misleading
The higher that love gets
the harder that love falls,
all those faithful promises
reaches a dead end wall,
Now you’ve got a broken heart
because of all love’s sins
yet months later love is forgiven
and the cycle starts again
