Some women just don’t know when to move on with their lives.

Why love him for all that he’s not?
You give him all without a thought

Look deep inside those deep cold eyes
With nothing more than spite and lies

The clouds won’t part to show you light
Blaming yourself for another fight

Maybe if you just tried some more
You’d be the one who he’d adore

Promise and love awaits you, dear
Move past the blame and past the fear

You are much stronger than you know
Now dig deep and let true strength show

Show your children how life can be
Without pain or misery

Wishing you’d shut and lock that door
You’d discover a world of so much more

This is hard for some, to let go and move on. I liked the sense to it too.

..Hi Josey, great work. You and I
had similiar themes on this one,
my writing “Letting Go: Stop Chasing
    Ghosts”, states basically the same
thing you wrote in poetic form.
    Take care.
