I was alone and so lonely
Shattered by the love I lost
Hiding from the world in front of me
Never wanting to face reality.

Blinded by sorrow
Always in search of tomorrow
I yearned for a love
That I desperately needed to feel.

Then you came along
Just like a song
And opened my eyes
To reality once again.

You made my days bloom
Like a sprouting rose in June
You gave me the love I yearned for
And the chance to love again.

I never thought I could do it
But you’ve shown me that I can
