A piece of poetry about the journey of life.
Luminous Beings
My face is giving light
My legs receiving earth and truth
My hands removing all desguises
My eyes to see the luminosity of you
My skin is strawberry and creamy mud
My knees are solid rocks
My hair is my rope to God
So i can climb and eat and reach for love
My neck can change the past
My mouth can rearrange the future
My scent is cloudy summer afternoon
Your breath to cook and melt and furnish
But don’t forget
My body is an ancient wallnut tree
If you lay your soul for rest beneath me
I’ll drain your strenth and divinity
Go gather all my fruit
And use the shell of them
then sail
The music of my branches
Will lead you all the way
And when you reach your land of wisdom
Stretch yourself out on eternity
Cos’ we’re just two luminous beings
happy in our time-space odyssey
