May 2009.
Swollen lips and racing heart
Dare anyone to tear us apart
One more touch; send you over the edge
Lust and love;be careful walking on that ledge
Hormones rage at the speed of sound
I swore I’d never want you around
Eyes heavy as you drop your clothes
I thought we weren’t going down this road
Take deep breaths; trying to stop touching you
But all I can do is notice your flushed hue
Skin over-sensitized;no more control
Look at you through dazed eyes lined with kohl
Kiss me again and there’s no turning back
I promise it isn’t lust that we lack
Fires unleashed underneath my skin
Take me to a place I’ve never been
