The flowing songs of the rippling cascades…
The cascades coming down the rocky mountain faces
On nimble silver slippers of glass aglow in golden light
Their lyrical gaits reverberate as ambrosiac strains
In the serenity of the silent deserted woods
Singing of the chilly fingers of feather soft snow crystals
That glisten in sun rays as fragment of the mirror of Iris
They sing of the glacier with a heart of icing melting
With love to give birth to serpentine rivers
Appearing like a veil of stars in th daytime
Or as if the Milky Way had steped down from the indigo expanse
To hum sweet melodies to the sun in broad daylight
The desires of lovers and the yearnings of children
Those hidden in the womb of the ebon night
In the fluorescent placenta of sweet dreams
Have emerged like saccharine melody from their chrysalis
To echo in the waterfall in the radiance of the dawn
On naked aquatic feet like light they run down the hilly terrain
Oblivious of the harsh pebbles under delicate soles
Like a juvenile maiden in the throes of love and passion
Lost in thoughts as she walks down to meet her lover
Humming honeyed strains under her eager breath
The notes emerging from the lyre of Apollo dissolved in the wind
And emitted from the strummed heartstrings of the cascade
Or is it a melody borrowed from the flying cherubs of Eros
The melancholy of the love of the glacier for the ocean
Whom he tries to embrace with arms of gentle rivers
A lyrical opera of Nature enacted for the nymphs and angels
A symphony blended with tears of the glaciers
And the joy of the aureae rays shimmering on water
It is like life- a mixture of smiles and tears…
