A spoken way of knowing me
My thoughts my feelings flowing through the air space
Mentally addictive syllables laced with
A clinical case of “Dang that boy good”
 
Dropping bars like I should
Cause they are too hot to hold
They say I’m cold
Cause I leave them froze with a face of amazement
 
Like Shadrach, Meshach hell was my placement
Sent through the fire and overcame it
Jesus saw my life and saved it
Inspired a song for me to sing and I played it
“Never Would have made it, Without YOU!”
 
I’m after his own heart like David
That’s why I shop for these words
Cause the people they crave it
As I relate it to their everyday life story
At the end of the day there comes a change
And God gets the glory
He pushes me to the front
Cause I put Him before me
His blessings have allowed the world to adore me
Now even death ears can’t ignore me
