A poem about Alice in the Wonderland.

I’m mad as a hatter mad as a bell

ever ringing ever singing

ever wishing you well

wishing you well in the well of wishing

can you see the coins

or are you going to go fishing

fishing for hopes and fishing for dreams

here in Wonderland nothing is as it seems

drink my tea like you drink in my lies

eat my sugarcake full of flies

down and down and down you went

tumbling down a dark scary pit

ever hear that curiousity killed the cat

ever hear the mad flapping

of the vampire bat

squeeking and screaming like little mice

here or there they arn’t very nice

but since you’re here you should take my advice

run little girl run while you can

pay no attention to flowers or rabbit men

ignore that kitty grinning in the sky

he will lead you on and on until you die

don’t pay your respects to the queen

she’s vile and wicked and awefully mean

bow down to her and you’ll lose your head

talk back to her and you are surely dead.
