Deception unbridled.

Now you see him

now you don’t

He says He will

then he says he won’t.

This is that and that is this

He gives us confusion

sealed with a kiss.

Deception is his stock and trade

He talks until what’s real

begins to fade.

Day is night

and night is day

at least that’s what I heard him say.

He does what’s wrong and calls it right

he backed us in a corner oh so tight.

I wonder what is his final plan,

the charming, deceitful

Magic man.

that was so nice Jamie, though I don’t believe in magic still the craft fascinates me.

I don’t think that your first 2 commenters caught on to the identity of the magic man. He has deceived and blinded so many!

Actually sounds like my husband… contradicting himself all the time, and denying it too! :)

I know a lot of people this could be about. Great work, Jamie.
