Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 We need to be lighthouses for Christ, in word and deed, to bring the lost to Jesus Christ.

Millions wander far from God
Upon life’s troubled sea
Driven far from thy dear course
And lost, alas, shall be.
Lord, make me a lighthouse,
That I might share each day
Thy dear Son, the only one,
The Truth, the Life, the Way
Lord, may I warn of danger.
May I guide each day
May I be a help to all
Who wander from thy Way.
I am but an instrument,
A tool in thine own hand.
Alas, I have no Light at all,
Lest thy light upon me stand.
Thy Light stands upon the Rock.
Its foundation firm and strong.
It varies not from spot to spot,
But stands through ages long
Lord make me that Lighthouse,
That I might share today,
Thy dear Son, the only one,
The Truth the Light the Way.
