Builders Tea is a strong tea that the working class drinks.
You drink me with a man’s meal
So listen up cause here’s the deal
No dainty little porcelain cup
No pretty girls who play dress-up
A man’s beverage is what I be
And you can call me the builders tea
The diner, the roadhouse, the greasy spoon
Is where I’ll be in the afternoon
Because the average joe is who I’m for
The biker, the trucker, keeps coming for more
Of bacon, fried eggs, black pudding, hash browns
And this working man’s tea to wash it down
So go head and make it a builders
