The New Year is here;            

time to clean up the cheer.

Kitty and Star took off for a beer.

Time to move on,,,I have been here

too long. Worn out from bestowing

young writers with fear.

Had to apply my witch’s tricks.

Writing is not for pale, limp dicks.

Turned on the vacuum it rumbled

and roared, blew out black smoke

I thought, What a joke!

I unzipped the bag and what a surprise.

A rumpled brown stack of papers fell out

at my side. Neatly clipped together and

a Title as well.

My God, it was a manuscript Straight from Hell.

It was hard to read the title smeared in dirt as it was

but immediately I felt a buzz.
