Written in dedication to my brother. He has a huge collection of “Minis”. I had him write a list of all he had and I made a poem out of his collection.

Mini things everywhere,
tiny sorts, tiny kinds.
Nondiscriminatory objects,
Of use,
Of collecting,
To have, to need, to find.
Unthinkable minis kept, stored,
mini shelving,
for colonies cute and small.
Army men,
knives held in hand,
Mini cars, mini doors close on all.
Mini heads,
keys,
mini money to bet.
Mini camera take mini pictures,
Of mini journals,
mini pets.
Mini minis,
Mini books,
Next to the mini Graveyard scene.
Mini tombstone lined with,
Mini skeleton.
Mini Record Player,
Nuts and bolts,
screws,
only mini eyes see.
Bowling pins stand in place,
mini bowling balls knock free.
Mini sewing machine, that works!
Pens,
egyptian heads,
eggs,
machinery.
Mini monkeys,
Mini brushes,
Lighters whose flints spark tiny flames,
tweezers,
tools,
Mini night, mini day.
So many minis,
Mini words do complain!
Mini calculator
Mini buttons
Many Mini figures to count.
Pad of paper can not hold much more!
Mini world,
In mini chaos,
They Conspire about.
Minis all over!
Minis are seen,
Minis taking over!
Make no eye contact with!
So tiny, those minis,
Mini truth hide no myth.
Help, so the world may battle them soon!
Close the door, nail it shut!
Let none escape from that room!
Minis, fondness find them,
Too easily, bombard.
Quaint, tiny treasures,
Mini, still too large.
