Just a short poem about running and a little endurance.

Heart racing, beating fast

Time is running out

I got to make it back

I got to make it count

The colored ribbon is nearing closer

I can feel sweat running down my face

What I wouldn’t give for a short break

But I can’t stop, only pick up the pace

I finally snap the ribbon

Success is sweet

But now all I really want

Is to go find something to drink
