We can’t go back in time to do all those things we meant to do, but we can move forward from this moment with a new perspective. Time lost can never be regained…..

Who can stop the march of time?

Turn back the clock

Do things over, differently

Than before, knowing all

We know now, would we take

A different approach

Be better pupils of life’s lessons

Worry less and love more

Keep our promises, even the “small” ones

Laugh out loud at our own foolishness

(We always took ourselves too seriously

Believing we had all the answers)

Greet each day with gratitude

Find beauty in things often overlooked

How easily we forgot

Caught up in the race to success

All the while the hands moved forward

In steady progression

Time we can never regain
