For many people, marriage is the only goal

and destination, they couldn’t care less about

feelings or relations,

The fantasy of diamond rings and a huge formal event,

makes some competitive without any end,

After the excitement has subsided and died

and all that is left is real life, sometimes boring,

sometimes tired,

The marriage obsessed realize their status of wedded bliss

is not what they desired, so they continue on a road of serial marriages,

or whatever associations their hearts can conspire,

until their lives become void and meaningless,

because marriage is really about the meeting of two minds,

not a sordid, complicated mess,

through stormy weather and when others are unkind,

A good marriage is the only comfort many will find,

It should never be a pit stop or a place to chill,

Resentment will only develop causing bad emotions and ill-will.
