People from all over the country have voiced their severe concern against hike in POL prices and demanded of the government to increase their salaries.
Talking to this news agency here on Saturday the residents of Islamabad wailed over the injustice that the government does not do well by dropping a petrol bomb on the over 170 million people, increasing POL prices by 5.4 to 9 per cent. They said that increase in POL prices is tantamount to economic killing.
According to public of Peshawar, the increase in POL prices would bring surge of inflation in the country while the local transporters have called emergency meeting in this connection.
The residents of Quetta expressed great concerns over increase in oil prices while petrol and diesel is being sold at new rates at petrol pumps in Quetta.
