This is a funny poem of love with a touch of Mathematics.
I tried TRIGO and CALCULUS
Believed in love they’re something to use,
But the answer provided was something wrong
Proving that to my girl, I just don’t belong.
I tried STATISTICS with her as my sample
From a population of a billion people,
But I couldn’t get her heart through central tendency
And that caused me to find another strategy.
I took ALGEBRA and tried to see,
What if X were her and Y were me?
But the value of myself I couldn’t even find
The more trouble! It’s negative, her sign!
I tried a bit of GEOMETRY,
But the area of her heart was still something I couldn’t see.
Many things bothered the circumference of my head.
If she were made for me, PYTHAGORAS had not said.
But it’s time to add sacrifice to affection,
To subtract the anger from this frustration,
To MULTIPLY love by the power of two,
And divide those dreams I have to make them all come true.
So, one, two, three, I ask my lady.
Four, five, six, if she’ll love me truly.
Seven, eight, nine, she gets to kiss me finally.
I can’t count ten now for my lips are busy.
And there I go with a smile on my face,
For I was kissed by the girl I’ve loved all days.
But girl I have to go now, so much for the kiss,
For the next subject is MATH, I don’t think I’ll pass the quiz.
