May there be light

wherever you go

North South East West

You go where I follow

Anywhere you head

Smiles you shall hold

Reasons is so clear

And you sure know

I am always there

To check you hot or cold

Whether day or night

Happy or in sorrow

When your light is out

Please have me told

I will get you batteries

Your light again shall glow

My love is always strong

So genuine, not just for show

If one day, you ever get tired

Remove batteries, and I shall go
