It’s a poem about a girl I have strong feelings about.
can you take my soul in your arms, and lead it about,
can you lock my fears in your heart and hide all your doubt,
will you hold my hand as we walk down this road,
will we grow young in heart as our bodies old.
will you promise to stay with me till the most bitter end?
…regardless of whether or what we see round the bend
in this pathway of life.
