Accepting something you believed so much in could only fail is a very bitter pill to swallow.
I fell so in love with you
as time passed my love grew
it got bigger than I expected
and became my biggest regret
hindsight is the kick in the teeth
where mistakes and naivity meet
I wasted all of those tears
for a meaningless couple of years
